Lashana: “It’s highly improper in my culture to have tatoos. So as soon as my family have learned about it I will be kicked out of the house, I’m afraid”

Exercise 7
Read and choose who you agree with the most. Justify your opinion, use conditionals.
- John: "I'm against taking risks as it can lead to a lot of problems. A few years ago, my friend invested a lot of money in the stock market without proper research and ended up losing everything he had. It took him years to recover from that setback and I don't want to take that kind of risk in my life."
- Sara: "I support taking risks because it helps us learn and grow. Last year, I decided to start my own business even though I had no previous experience. It was a huge risk for me, but I learned so much along the way and now my business is doing well. If I hadn't taken that risk, I would still be stuck in my boring office job."
- Alex: "I'm not sure if I'm for or against taking risks. On one hand, I want to try new things and see what's out there, but on the other hand, I'm afraid of failure. For example, I have always dreamt of traveling alone to a foreign country, but I'm scared of the unknown and the risks that come with it."
- Emily: "Taking risks is what life is all about! We should embrace every opportunity that comes our way and never be afraid to jump into something new. Three years ago, I met a guy online and we hit it off right away. He lived in Italy and I'd never been there before, but I decided to take the risk and fly over to meet him. It was one of the best decisions I ever made - we're now married and living happily ever after!
